The prizes of the first call for grants for research projects in Primary Care are awarded

 

Twelve professionals have received these grants today from the Catalan Health Institute and the IDIAP Jordi Gol Primary Care Research Institute, with funds from the Lleida Provincial Council.

A scholarship of 20,000 euros and ten scholarships of 3,000 euros have been awarded with the aim of improving the quality of research in the field of Primary Care.

 

Registration open for the online course of Emotional Ventilation

In the framework of the Mestral project, led by IDIAPJGol with the collaboration of the ICS and the Galatea Foundation, and funded by the Department of Health (PERIS), we are launching a new online course aimed at the referents of emotional and community well-being (RBEC) for delve into the contents of the session guide of the emotional ventilation program, indications for putting it into practice, and relevant information about the scope of the research study.

A study carried out in more than 750 healthcare professionals confirms that antibodies are maintained 17 months after suffering from COVID-19

• Research has also confirmed that people who suffered from the disease in a severe form generate more antibodies than those who had moderate and mild effects

• The results of the study show significant differences in the generation of antibodies between men and women on day 30 of infection and for all the antibodies measured

• This is one of the largest studies that has been carried out so far in Catalonia, both in terms of the volume of participants and the duration of the follow-up

A study by IDIAPJGol analyzes possible social inequalities in vaccination against Covid-19 and in infections and hospitalizations due to Covid-19 in Catalonia. The results show lower vaccination rates and higher infection and hospitalization rates in disadvantaged areas of Catalonia in people over 40 years of age.
