Resource Acquisition Area

Project Management Unit

Presentation

The UGP is made up of four people with technical and scientific profiles who offer advice and administrative support to the preparation and monitoring of the Institute’s R&D&I projects and is integrated into the Institute’s Scientific Area.

The distribution of functions within the UGP is given by the scope of application of the subsidies: Pere Monteagudo is in charge of managing the calls and national projects; Daniela Modena, as manager of European and national projects; Nicola Kielland as international pre-award manager and Alexandros Nikolaou as coordinator of the Unit.

The difference in resources allocated to the different areas is explained by the obtaining of the “GoEurope” subsidy, financed by the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which aims to enable research institutes to attract greater European and international funds.
