Training placements are an excellent way to build capacity as a researcher. For this reason, at IDIAPJGol we believe that training placements are a highly valuable tool for gaining firsthand experience with primary care research in a leading institution both nationally and internationally. At IDIAPJGol, we promote training with the aim of generating knowledge, disseminating results, and translating them into clinical practice to bring efficiency to the healthcare system and promote and improve people’s health.
IDIAPJGol welcomes individuals interested in conducting doctoral theses or Master’s final projects, as well as primary care professionals who wish to work interdisciplinary on research projects that help address the needs of Primary and Community Care.
What does IDIAPJGol offer?
Doctorat: this involves being enrolled in a doctoral program adapted to the European Higher Education Area, encompassing a series of training activities that culminate in the preparation of a doctoral thesis (an original piece of research).
Post-doc: a postdoctoral researcher is a professional who conducts research after successfully completing their doctoral studies.
Master’s Final Project (TFM): This mandatory project to obtain a University Master’s Degree consists of an integrated synthesis of the knowledge acquired during the program, completed individually and defended before a university panel.
Bachelor’s Degree (Final year).
Primary Care Resident (Primary Care Professional in Training).
Primary Care Professional.
Within this range of potential training placements, IDIAP will prioritize long-term stays, especially pre-doc, post-doc, and the completion of Master’s final projects (TFM).

Where can you do your training placement within IDIAPJGol?
IDIAPJGol consists of 8 Territorial Support Units (USR) (see map) a Central Research Unit, the Medicine Studies Unit, and SIDIAP. It also features 34 research groups through which various lines of research are developed (Research Groups).

Sending the “Training Placement” application documentation correctly completed.
Having been accepted by IDIAPJGol and being assigned a tutor.
