On March 22, 23 and 24, the XXXI Congress of the Spanish Society of Pharmacology took place in virtual format. Rosa Morros, pharmacologist and head of the IDIAPJGol Drug Studies Unit, has been the president of the Scientific Committee of the Congress.

Success of the II IDIAPJGol Innovation Conference

On March 22, the conference 'Innovation: the way to improve the health of our society' took place, organized by the IDIAPJGol. With more than 120 people registered, the conference took place in the ICS auditorium and was broadcast live, reaching up to 65 people connected.

Researchers find no relationship between Covid-19 vaccines and various neurological events

Research does find evidence of an increased risk for unvaccinated people who become infected with SARS-CoV-2. A study carried out by the IDIAPJGol Real World Epidemiology group analyzes the connection between vaccines against Covid-19 and neurological disorders such as Bell's palsy, encephalomyelitis or Guillain-Barré syndrome without finding evidence of an association between the two.
