The GAVINA group from Terres de l´Ebre, led by Dr. Mª Rosa Dalmau Llorca, shows in a new publication the social and gender inequalities in the prescription of anticoagulants in patients with atrial fibrillation.
The objective is to identify biomarkers and immunological mechanisms of persistent Covid-19 and to study the effect of vaccines. 300 people will participate in seven centers spread throughout Catalonia. The collaborative study is possible thanks to the logistical and operational support of the Daniel Bravo Foundation and the involvement of the group of those affected and persistently affected by Covid-19.
A new article from the Predimed-Plus project of IDIAPJGol and Rovira i Virgili University, relates socioeconomic factors and lifestyle to overweight and obesity. The study analyzes data from more than 1,500 people between 55 and 80 years old in Catalonia who participate in the study to deal with obesity.
