David Verde. Business Development and Coordination

He has 20 years of expertise in technology transfer, startups, project management, and business development within the healthcare sector. As part of the GeoYmaing project, he emerged as one of the recipients of the Fondo de Emprendedores REPSOL in 2013. He's held integral roles within various innovation, tech transfer, project management, and business development teams across diverse public and private institutions including the University of Barcelona, Institut de Recerca Biomèdica (IRB), Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB), Fundació Bosch i Gimpera (FBG), IDIBAPS, Fundació Clínic, and Ymaging SL. With experience managing three European Programme projects, he presently is the innovation coordinator at IDIAPJGol.

 

Diana Puente, MD, MPH,Ph, Clinical Trial Design & Epidemiological Studies Team

Diana Puente has a degree in Medicine from the UAB, a master's degree in Public Health Methodology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a PhD in biomedical research from the UPF. Her experience covers epidemiology and research methodology in clinical projects. She has been an essential part of the IDIAPJGol team since 2005, working as a dedicated researcher. From 2013 to 2017, she contributed to the European Projects Unit of IDIAPJGol. Currently, she plays an important role in the IDIAPJGol Innovation Agency since 2020. 

In addition to her research tasks, she provides guidance to health professionals seeking to enhance their careers through research projects.

 

 

Marc Casajuana, Socio-Economic Impact Studies

Marc Casajuana has a degree in Economics and Investment and Market Research from the University of Barcelona. He holds a master's degree in Health Economics from Pompeu Fabra University. He has focused on conducting economic evaluations of healthcare interventions primarily in primary care. Currently, he is part of the Innovation Agency of IDIAPJGol, established in 2019

 

Magda Aubets, Project Manager

Graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies in health sciences and from the European University with a master's degree in marketing. She is currently enrolling in the Master of Digital Health degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). With a strong background in healthcare and marketing, Magda has consolidated her experience as a Project Manager. She manages projects pertaining to digital health and innovation in healthcare by fusing her expertise in marketing and healthcare.

 

Stela Sanchez, Clinical Trials and Project Manager

 

Graduated in Geography and History at the UB. She has been working at IDIAP Jordi Gol for 20 years, taking care of the economic part of the Clinical Trials and managing competitive projects. She joined the Innovation Agency at the end of 2023, giving support and managing all the needs of the network of the Agency for Clinical Management and Research in Primary Care (AGICAP).
