The Agency for the Management of Clinical Research in Primary Care (AGICAP) of IDIAPJGol is an organization dedicated to the management and promotion of clinical trials with drugs. It covers the entire territory of Catalonia, reaching 87% of the population and more than 340 accredited researchers with experience in conducting clinical trials (family doctors, pediatricians, gynecologists, traumatologists, pharmacologists, nurses).

Funcions

• Promotion of quality research in clinical trial format in Primary Care in Catalonia.
• Total support to the promoter of clinical trials, both in terms of project viability and technical, scientific, administrative and collaboration.
• Development and execution of clinical trials born from the same network and from external promoters, subject to approval by the CEI of the IDIAP Jordi Gol.
• Training in research with clinical trials for Primary Care professionals.
• Promotion of mutual collaboration between researchers in the network.
• Stimulation and coordination of the exchange of ideas, research projects and research needs in Primary Care in Catalonia.
