The Board of Trustees is the highest governing, administrative and representative body of IDIAPJGol. It meets in ordinary session, at least twice a year, and in extraordinary session at the initiative of the presidency or at the request of a third of its members.

Functions
Ensure strict compliance with the foundational purposes.
Accept research projects and those belonging to other programs, the content of which is in line with the goals of the Entity.
Approve the general action plan of the IDIAPJGol, the programming of activities, their cost and the expected sources of financing, at the proposal of the management.
Approve the annual budget of IDIAPJGol.
Approve the annual reports, inventories, balance sheets and accounts that must be prepared annually.
To issue, if necessary, internal regulations.
Decide on the modification, if applicable, of the Statutes and any aspect of interest or significance for IDIAPJGol, in accordance with the laws.
Decide on the controversial terms according to the interest of IDIAPJGol and in relation to its purposes.
