It is the unit that manages the entity’s IT strategy and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of applications, platforms and infrastructures necessary for the channels or corporate information systems that must support organizational and business processes. We currently have the GIR platform, from where we manage all research projects and the SIGRID economic management program.

Functions

Regarding IT support and maintenance:

• Resolving IT incidents at a general level
• User support
• Making purchases of IT equipment that are necessary

Regarding systems administration:

• Controlling servers and public networks
• Backups
• Antivirus
• Email management
• Access controls

Regarding the development and maintenance of Information Systems:

• Development of the programs, applications or technological platforms that we have
• Updates and modifications of the previous ones
