Relay in the coordination of the Research Support Units of Tarragona and Central Catalonia
Recently, there has been a change in the coordination of two of IDIAPJGol's Research Support Units. Currently, Francisco Martín Luján coordinates the one of Tarragona, and Josep Vidal Alaball coordinates the one of Central Catalonia.
The takeover in the coordination of these RSU comes after Josep Basora, the previous coordinator of Tarragona, assumed the leadership of the IDIAPJGol. In the case of Central Catalonia, the until now coordinator Jacobo Mendioroz, left office to assume the direction of the Catalonia Coronavirus Monitoring Unit.
The Research Support Units allow IDIAPJGol to manage, advise and organize research initiatives that may arise in the territory. The RSU bring the IDIAPJGol services closer to the researchers, helping them in the development of their projects, informing them about existing grants and calls, facilitating their application procedures and managing the budget received, and supporting them to its execution.
The IDIAPJGol is organized territorially into eight Research Support Units: Barcelona, Central Catalonia, Girona, Lleida Pyrenees, Metropolitan North, West Coast, Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre.
