Primary care, key to health innovation: IDIAPJGol PARTICIPATES in 4YFN at MWC 2025

From March 3 to 6, IDIAPJGol will be present at the 4YFN of the Mobile World Congress 2025 to promote the incorporation of new innovative solutions in the field of health

 

Barcelona will become the center of health innovation from March 3 to 6 with the celebration of 4YFN, as part of the Mobile World Congress 2025. IDIAPJGol plays a key role, demonstrating how primary care is an essential field for driving the validation and implementation of new health solutions.

Despite scientific evidence confirming that patient involvement in the development of clinical solutions improves health outcomes, most CE certification processes in healthcare still do not integrate the perspectives of patients and professionals. This lack of real validation can hinder the market entry of new health technologies.

To address this challenge, IDIAPJGol presents several initiatives at its stand at 4YFN (Hall 8.0, Stand 8.0B29.2), including:

• Demonstrations of innovative healthcare technology, such as the use of virtual reality applied to health and advanced systems for early detection of diabetic foot.
• The Real World Lab, a pioneering living lab that enables the validation of medical devices, both hardware and clinical software, in a real primary care setting.

This space aims to facilitate the integration of new technologies into the healthcare system and ensure that innovations have a real impact on population health.
