The ODISEA project wins the VTSO Health Innovation Award
ODISEA, an app that allows all professionals involved in an “infarction code” to have information about the patient's condition, among others, to act in the most effective and fastest way, was selected from among thirty proposals.
Viladecans The Style Outlets held, on December 11, the award ceremony for the II VTSO Health Innovation Award, in which the winning project was announced.
The purpose of the award, which is endowed with 15,000 euros and has the collaboration of IDIBELL – XarSMART, is to promote the transfer to the market and society of high-level projects in the field of health products, digital health and advanced therapies.
The ODISEA project, presented in the Digital Health category by the Biomedical Research Institute of Girona (IDIBGI), the University Institute for Research in Primary Care (IDIAP Jordi Gol) and the Josep Trueta University Hospital of Girona, raises the development of software to improve the care process for acute myocardial infarction by optimising the coordination and flow of information between healthcare providers responsible for patients. The result is a considerable reduction in treatment time and better case selection.
ODISEA is led by doctors Jaime Aboal (IDIBGI/Hospital Josep Trueta/UdG) and Rafael Ramos (IDIAPJGol/IDIBGI/UdG).
