Dr. Josep Basora, speaker at the "Health Research, a model for the future" colloquium on 7-M

On March 7th, Dr. Josep Basora, director of IDIAP Jordi Gol, will attend the event "Health Research, a model for the future", a colloquium that will bring together eight representatives of health research. The College of Journalists of Catalonia will identify the keys to the success of the Catalan model in research, but also identify the challenges facing the system.

The colloquium will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be divided into two round tables: "Science and clinical care: a shared responsibility" and "From knowledge to care: guarantee of a universal right." Josep Basora will be part of this second table, in which it is intended to share experiences to understand how research contributes to guaranteeing universal rights and quality health.

The event, moderated by the director of the Fundación Periodismo Plural, Guillem Pujol Borràs, will feature the presentation of a new project from the Diario de la Sanidad, the "Health Research" portal, a journalistic project that brings together different health research centers in the country and that seeks to make known, through a familiar and understandable language, how the different research teams in Catalonia make health research a model of international success.
