Five IDIAPJGol researchers, recognized in the 2022 COMB Excellence Awards

The Barcelona College of Physicians (CoMB) has awarded the Professional Excellence Awards to 51 doctors and four healthcare teams from the Barcelona regions who have stood out for their excellence and quality professional activity. Among the winners, five researchers from the IDIAPJGol: Rafael Azagra, Josep Casajuana, Laura Conangla, Francesc Orfila i Maria José Pérez.

 The Professional Excellence Awards have been awarded annually since 2004 (with the exception of the interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021) at the discretion of juries made up of renowned doctors and doctors and are recognition of the medical profession to healthcare professionals and teams who have stood out for an exemplary career in the practice and for the exaltation of the values ​​that make up medical professionalism. The CoMB awards value trajectories based on honesty, commitment, altruism, integrity, a job well done and excellence.

The CoMB awards professionals in six different fields: hospital care medicine, primary care medicine, medicine from other healthcare settings, biomedical research, medical education y, por último, humanities, cooperation and management.In addition, four prizes are awarded for healthcare teams, to recognize the leadership and excellence of physicians who work as a team.
