Two IDIAPJGol researchers star in an exhibition to make women scientists visible
During the week of 8M different events and exhibitions throughout the Catalan territory want to give visibility to women scientists and researchers from different fields who work outside the media spotlight with the aim of improving our society. In Terres de l'Ebre, the exhibition "Scientists of Ulldecona" at the Ulldecona Tourist Office is a display of female scientific talent from Ebre, where two of the protagonists are researchers in the field of Primary Care at IDIAPJGol.
The IDIAP researchers who appear in the sample are Noèlia Carrasco Querol, doctor in Biology, member of the GAVINA Primary Care Intervention Evaluations research group and technician of the IDIAPJGol Research Support Unit in Terres de l' Ebre. Also starring in the exhibition is the physiotherapist and doctor in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences Carme Martí Borràs from the IDIAPJGol CardioCat Life Styles Group.
Publicizing their scientific profiles and their research work highlights the importance of research in Primary Care at IDIAPJGol as a benchmark research center for primary care in Catalonia and for the Research Support Units in the territories, and contributes to the dissemination of its impact on society.
