On March 22, the II IDIAPJGol Innovation Conference will take place
Under the title 'Innovation: the way to improve the health of our society', IDIAP organizes its II Innovation Conference. The event will take place in the ICS Assembly Hall (Barcelona), on March 22 between 10:30 and 13:30.
The objective of the Conference is to generate a change in mentality to achieve a social and economic return on our research and is aimed at all Primary Care professionals who have identified in their daily practice opportunities for change and improvement related to services, processes or products.
The conference will be opened by Yolanda Lejardi, managing director of the Catalan Institute of Health, Josep Basora, director of the IDIAP Jordi Gol and Francesc Iglesias, deputy director of the ICS. Afterwards, Mario de la Cuesta, head of Innovation at IDIBELL, will offer the conference 'Other models of innovation in the ICS environment'. Next, David Verde, head of the IDIAPJGol Innovation Agency, will present the entity and Xavier Cos, a member of the ICS search support team and the group of research DAP_CAT, will present an Innovation Kahoot.
Two round tables will take place during the day. The first will deal with 'Experiences in Innovation of women entrepreneurs' and will feature the participation of Alicia Martínez, CEO of the spin-off of the IGTP Time isBrain; Eurídice Alvaro, member of the innovation group INCASyM at IDIBAPS and the spin-off Health Circuit; Eva Peguero, family doctor at CAP El Castell and member of the IDIAP VERTAP research group; and Eva Colas, VHIR researcher and CSO and co-founder of the spin-off MiMARK.
The second round table will address the 'Implementation of research in the National Health System' and will include Enric Aragonés, a family doctor from the CAP of Constantí and an IDIAP researcher; Francesc Iglesias, deputy director of the ICS and president of EIT HealthSpain; Mario de la Cuesta, head of Innovation at IDIBELL; and Vicente Traver, director of technological innovations for health and well-being at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Between the two round tables, a second Innovation Kahoot will take place, led by David Verde, IDIAPJGol's Innovation Leader.
