The project's Citizen Hackt workshops for seniors begin
Is everything that is said on social networks legit? Within the framework of the Citizen Hackt project, led by Dr. Pilar Montero from the GRIDAES group, the first free workshops on ICT tools will take place during the months of June and July for people aged 55 to 80 years.
The workshops, which will take place in person at the CAP Ronda Prim in Mataró, or online, are for 10 people. The objective is to reduce the digital divide, improve digital skills and encourage critical thinking, for example, by casting doubt on the information that can arrive through social networks. For this reason, we will talk about fake news or medicine based on scientific evidence as opposed to pseudo-therapies.
In addition, digital communication with the health center will also be discussed, explaining the operation of My Health and the e-consultation.
