The USR of Lleida collaborates in a questionnaire on personalized breast cancer screening

This questionnaire is part of the Decide and ProShare research projects entitled "Personalization of breast cancer screening: evaluation of its viability and acceptability in the National Health System (PI17 / 00834) and" The collaboration of health professionals to include shared decision-making in the Breast Cancer Screening Program "(PI18 / 00773), respectively.

Both projects, which aim to advance towards a personalized breast cancer screening model, are funded by the Carlos III Health Institute and are led by the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida-University of Lleida and the Rovira i Virgili University (URV). in collaboration with other centers of the National Health System. 

The objective of the questionnaire is to evaluate the attitudes and opinions of health professionals about personalized breast cancer screening, as well as the barriers and facilitators of coordination of the levels of care to be able to carry it out. It was elaborated from the results obtained in a qualitative study with focus groups and it is aimed at health professionals from primary care and from medical and nursing specialties related to breast cancer; professionals who work in screening programs, in breast units, and health managers or planners.
