The mission of SIDIAP is to develop and maintain an information platform of excellence with data from the health system and to provide research support services with the aim of generating knowledge and disseminating results to improve healthcare practice and people’s health.
The creation of SIDIAP must enable the strengthening of ICS’s own research, both at the strategic level of the Corporate Center and at the territorial level, as well as promote the institution’s health evaluation and improve its clinical management through the generation of new knowledge.
SIDIAP must allow IDIAPJGol to promote research, to participate in and lead highly competitive projects at the national and international levels, to take part in various research infrastructures, and to establish strategic alliances with other institutions and research networks.
