On July 20, 2023, the final resolution granting the IDIAPJGol the new Go Europe was made public by the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Through this line of aid, and in accordance with the Strategic Plan for Research and Innovation in Health 2022-2027, the impetus of international R+D+I project units is financed to promote the internationalization of innovation and research in health research institutes in Catalonia.

This subsidy will allow the incorporation of two people for a period of two years and fit; one will be integrated into the Project Management Unit (UGP) and the other into the Innovation Agency. The main objective is to improve the support we give to research staff in participating in European and international calls, and in this way improve the visibility and strategic positioning of IDIAPJGol in Europe.

And as the main activities that we will promote in the coming months, we would like to highlight:

• New edition of the online course “Presentation of a protocol to a competitive call”, from 20/09/2023 to 11/10/2023
• New face-to-face edition of the “Advanced course for participation in Horizon Europe proposals”, from 23/10/2023 to 11/11/2023. Registrations will open shortly.
• National informative and practical conference in hybrid mode on the EU4Health European funding program, with the main national and European officers, in the second half of November in the conference room of the corporate building of the ICS
• IDIAPJGol innovation conference at the Barcelona Science Park, on 31/10/2023

In addition, specific training for personnel with a manager or mixed manager/researcher profile may be financed, in addition to subsidizing external consultancies for the evaluation of proposals or their drafting. With all that said, the management of IDIAPJGol hopes to be able to give a boost to new European proposals, both for research and innovation, and to improve the support it currently offers.
