
On 28 November, the Lleida Medical Association (COMLL) held the awards ceremony of the 5th COMLL Awards, created to foster and facilitate research among Primary Care professionals. Seven projects were submitted in this edition, and the two best-rated were recognized with a prize of €1,500 each.
IDIAPJGol director Josep Basora took part in the opening of the event and presented the awards. Basora highlighted the efforts of Primary Care teams to promote high-quality research aimed at improving clinical practice.
The first prize went to Josep Montserrat Capdevila, author of the study “Assessment of the predictive capacity of coronary risk measured by REGICOR and development of a new predictive model in primary prevention: retrospective cohort study (2016–2025) in Primary Care”. The second prize was awarded to Francesc Pujol Aymerich for the project “Usefulness and efficiency of teledermatoscopy in the management of dermatological conditions seen in Primary Care”.
The event also included the participation of M. Cruz Urgelés, Deputy Secretary of COMLL; Joaquim Díaz, Care Director of the Primary and Community Care Management of Lleida; and José María Palacín, Head of the Research Support Unit of IDIAPJGol and ICS in Lleida, as well as the other professionals of the evaluation committee. All candidates received a certificate of participation.
