We are a multidisciplinary group consisting of 21 researchers, including 14 family physicians, 6 primary care nurses, and 1 research technician. In 2012, we initiated a program for family doctors to receive ultrasound training in primary care. This training aimed to establish clinical applications as standard practice across various primary care centers in the province of Lleida.Following this, a hospital rotation was arranged to collaborate with the radiology service at our reference hospital, ensuring improved practices. This rotation involved validating the agreement between scans performed by a family doctor and those by a radiologist, leading to the publication of an article in an international journal. Simultaneously, we continued our specialized training efforts, expanding our knowledge base and involving various professionals, including primary care nurses and, more recently, pediatricians. Currently, we have delivered several oral presentations and published various articles in internationally indexed journals.
