Training Unit

The IDIAPJordiGol Training Unit was created in 2013 to unify and enhance research training within the field of Primary Health Care, being one of its strategic lines.

The IDIAPJGol Training has four fundamental axes:

  1. Planning of the continuous training (face-to-face, blended, distance or E-learning) and also of the training exchanges.
  2. Relations with other entities to increase collaboration and teaching agreements with other national and international organizations, especially in the training of residents of different specialties.
  3. Management of the training offer (portfolio of services) to offer it to other entities.
  4. Providing a program for follow-up and tutoring, favouring the reception of students who want to carry out their final thesis or doctoral thesis, and who have the opportunity to participate in our projects and contribute their work to research in primary care.

The training unit will promote research training activities, and is therefore open to study the feasibility and help plan, if necessary, training activities in this area.

Its sub-objectives are:

  • Increase research skills of primary care professionals.
  • Promote research in primary care to people who start out in the health professions
  • Conduct ongoing training and improve active researchers
  • Stimulate new research projects.
