Funding period 2021 - 2027
In order to cover the expenses generated by publications and other means of dissemination of the results of projects awarded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III, the funding details must be correctly referenced in the "Funding" section, at the end of the leaflet, or of the current presentation.
The beneficiary is obliged to make reference to the subsidy received in all publications and other results derived directly from the subsidised action.
The following elements must be compulsorily included in the mention:
- Indication of the identification code assigned to the aid or project (dossier).
- An express and literal reference to "lInstituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII)" as the funding entity.
- An express reference to the co-financing by the European Union through the statement "Co-financed by the European Union".
- "Este estudio ha sido financiado por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) mediante el proyecto "XX/XXXXXXX" y cofinanciado por la Unión Europea
- "Proyecto "XX/XXXXXX", financiado por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) y cofinanciado por la Unión Europea"
- "Financiación: Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), "XX/XXXXXXX", cofinanciado por la Unión Europea".
English example:
- "This study has been funded by Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) through the project "XX/XXXXXXX" and co-funded by the European Union"

Funding period 2014-2020
The following elements must be compulsorily included in the mention:
- Indication of the identification code assigned to the aid or project (dossier).

An express and literal reference to "Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII)" as the funding body.

An express reference to the support of the corresponding European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or the European Social Fund (ESF), as appropriate, as co-financier.
- And, whenever possible, it must also contain the statement: "A way of doing Europe" in case of ERDF or "ESF invests in your future" in case of ESF.
English example: “The project received a research grant from the Carlos III Institute of Health, Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Spain), awarded on the 20XX call under the Health Strategy Action 2013-2016, within the National Research Program oriented to Societal Challenges, within the Technical, Scientific and Innovation Research National Plan 2013-2016, with reference PIXX/XXXXX, co-funded with European Union ERDF funds (European Regional Development Fund)”.
In order to comply with communication and publicity regulations, the following logos must be added to all dissemination material (posters, presentations at congresses, material for distribution of the study and which must be photocopied) of projects funded by the ISCiii/FEDER, which can be downloaded here:

In the special case of articles (publications, translations, etc.) we are required to provide the following details: title, journal, publication date and acknowledgements. As in the previous point, to meet the transparency requirements, the acknowledgments should include the following statement:
Any expenses related to the project that are intended for the public or participants (posters, questionnaires, attendence certificates, brochures, presentations, etc.), should contain a statement informing who has received the funding:
