Description

A team of three midwives, four gynaecologists, a clinical biologist and a health technician of the North Metropolitan Area Research Support Unit (USR) of the ICS constitute team. During the past four years, they have collaborated to promote sexual and reproductive health in young peolple and to improve women's and maternal and child health. External collaborators from other sexual health services, from the Hospital Mútua de Terrassa, the Consorci Sanitari of Terrassa, the Hospital of Vic, the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, the Catalan Institute of Oncology and from the University of Barcelona contribute also to this Group. The three main research fields are maternal and child health, women's health and sexual health in young people. In addition, the GRASSIR Group aims to establish a research network among the 7 Sexual Health Services of the North Metropolitan Area and to consolidate the group and the research fields.
