Description

Health care is the cornerstone of nursing. The GRCS Group focuses on nursing care and treatments. Nurses from the Hospital Vall d’Hebron and from the Nursing Department of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona collaborate with this Group, which is mainly constituted by primary care nurses, together with two family doctors and a health technician to achieve a comprehensive approach to the patient and excellence in methodological quality.

The research aims to define the services provided by nurses, both to the individual patient and to patient groups, and to find strategies to translate research results into clinical practice. The group wants to advance the discipline of nursing. With this purpose, they aim to become the meeting point for all the investigators and PhD students in Barcelona with an interest in the same research areas.
