Research Group in Therapies in Primary Care
Description
It is a multidisciplinary group with the participation of professional members of primary care, pharmacy, statistics and INEFC, with a common trajectory, initiated in 2007, in the study of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies prescribed to the general population. In addition, the group has collaborated and collaborated with other organizations such as the University of Lleida, with research groups of the Institute of Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLL) and with the Unity of Epidemiology of the Department of Health. The main objectives of the group within the area of study of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies are: the prevalence, efficiency, cost and adherence studies.
Research Lines
Polypharmacy, multimorbidity and adequacy of prescription in the elderly population, Study on patterns of consumption of different drugs, adherence to treatment, measure of primary noncompliance, evaluation of temporary trends of prescription, effectiveness and adverse effects, Treatment of molluscum contagiosum, Non-drug treatment: exercise prescription.
