Meeting of ROADMAP in Amsterdam
On march 7th we travelled to Amsterdam to take part, together with other public research centers and professionals of the industry, in a workshop of the "Real world Outcomes across the AD spectrum for better care: Multi-modal date Access Platform (ROADMAP)", a project in which there take part partners of several Europe countries, among them the IDIAP Jordi Gol, and that has the aim to explore new strategies to compile information based of the Real World Evidence for the study of Alzheimer's disease.
The workshop explored the different clinical databases generated in the area of the primary care or of studies of cohorts interesting for the study of Alzheimer's disease. It has also been approached which of this information is considered to be relevant or priority in the different stadiums of the disease, as well as for the different stakeholders of the sphere of the demencias.
ROADMAP is an European project financed by the "innovative medicines initiative (imi)" and led by the University of Oxford and Novartis, and has 26 European partners.
The next meeting will be 5th ROADMAP General Assembly and will take place on April 25 and 26 in Barcelona.
